싸이가 돌아왔다.

‘싸이육갑’ 이후 약 3년 5개월 만에 정규 7집 앨범 ‘칠집싸이다’로 돌아 왔다.

‘싸이다’ 라는 앨범명에서 시작하는 시원함과 흥, 그리고 존재감, 그 말 자체에 담긴 의미는 묘하게도 중의적이고 다층적이지만 선명하다.

대중가수로서의 사명을 다하기 위해서, 다사다난 했던 2015 에너제틱하게 마무리하기 위해서, 싱글이 아닌 9곡의 신곡이 담긴 앨범으로 다시 찾아온 싸이.

6일 연속 신곡을 미리 공개하는 유례없는 프로모션에서 이번 앨범에 대한 ‘작사 작곡가’로서의 자신감도 느껴지지만, 무엇보다 하루빨리 대중들에게 들려주고 싶은 마음, ‘대중가수’로서 하루빨리 호흡하고 싶은 그의 마음이 느껴진다.

‘칠집싸이다’ 시원하게 한 잔 들이킬 때의 그 톡 쏘는 시원함. 그것이 바로 싸이가 이번 앨범에서 전달하고 싶은 그 무엇이 아닐까.


1. 댄스쟈키

일렉트로닉 베이스를 주축으로 독특한 색소폰 사운드와 DJ를 ‘디스크쟈키’가 아닌 ‘댄스쟈키’로 풀어낸 후렴구가 귀에 오래도록 맴돈다. 14개의 한글 자음을 라임에 맞춰 풀어쓴 센스 넘치는 가사가 곡에 재미를 더해준다.

2. I Remember You (Feat. Zion.T)

80년대 레트로 신스 사운드와 드럼 비트를 주축으로 최근 가장 핫한 알앤비 소울 뮤지션 Zion.T가 피처링에 참여해 시너지를 극대화한다. 그때 그 시절에 그 사람과 함께 들었던 그 노래를 다시 들으며, 순수했던 그 사랑을 떠올리는 서정적인 가사다.

3. 나팔바지 (TITLE)

펑키한 기타 리프에 리드미컬한 멜로디가 더해져, 절로 춤추고 싶게 만드는 신나는 펑키댄스곡이다. 후렴부분의 ‘나팔바지’ 후크와 어우러지는 브라스 섹션이 인상적이며 라임을 맞춘 센스 있고 유머러스한 가사가 노래에 재미를 더하는 곡이다.

4. DADDY (Feat. CL of 2NE1) (TITLE)

알려진 바와 같이 상당히 오랜 시간 여러 번의 편곡 작업을 거쳐 곡의 퀄리티를 최상으로 높였으며, 강렬하고 독특한 신스사운드가 주축이 된 빠른 템포의 EDM이다. 유쾌하고 강렬한 에너지를 느낄 수 있는 곡이며, 상남자의 이미지를 강조한 싸이 특유의 재치있는 후크 가사와 랩이 인상적이다.

5. Dream (Feat. XIA of JYJ)

분위기 있는 감성적인 피아노 선율로 시작되며 일렉 기타가 적절히 가미된 미디엄 템포곡이다. 청아하지만 슬픈 보이스의 XIA가 피처링에 참여해 완성도 있는 곡을 선사한다. 가까이 있는 것들에 대한 감사와 소중함 그리고 인생은 어쩌면 긴 꿈일지도 모른다는 가사를 담았다.

6. ROCKnROLLbaby (Feat. will.i.am)

강렬한 비트와 독특한 신스사운드가 돋보이는 EDM이다. 세계적인 가수 WILL I AM이 피처링에 참여해, 각자의 모국어로 직설적인 가사를 쉴 새 없이 내뱉는 다이나믹한 곡이다.

7. 좋은날이 올거야 (Feat. 전인권)

트랩비트에 발라드 코드의 독특한 신스 사운드를 사용한 몽환적인 느낌의 미디엄 팝 곡이다. 락의 전설 가수 전인권이 피처링에 참여해 곡의 완성도를 더욱 높였다. 아무리 힘들어도 좋은 날이 올 거라는 메시지를 담은 가사가 인상적이다.

8. 아저씨SWAG (Feat. 개코 of Dynamic Duo)

펑키한 기타 리프와 브라스 그리고 락 기타가 혼합된 신나는 팝곡이다. 원조 힙합 강자 다이나믹 듀오의 개코가 피처링에 참여했으며 흐르는 세월에 떠밀려 몸도 마음도 예전 같지 않은 아저씨의 아저씨 같은 현실을 담아낸 곡이다.

9. SING (PSYmix) (with Ed Sheeran)

서로에게 팬이자 동료로서 닮은 부분이 많은 Ed Sheeran의 곡 ‘SING’을 리믹스했다. 원곡의 후렴 멜로디를 차용, Trap 비트로 재해석한 곡이다. Ed Sheeran이 싸이와 함께한 파티 에피소드를 뮤직비디오에 담았고, 이번엔 싸이가 리믹스로써 답하는 곡이다.

싸이 정규 7집 앨범 ‘칠집싸이다’는 오는 12월 1일부터 예약판매를 시작하여 12월 16일부터 YG이샵을 비롯 전국 온/오프라인 음반 매장에서도 만나볼 수 있다

Returns and Exchanges

Requests for exchange/refund are accepted only if the requests are made within 3 days of the date of receipt via our “exchange/refund board”. After you receive your parcel excluding the specific product, please post a refund request on our exchange/refund board.
- Products that are out of stock
- Misdelivered orders
- Defective products
* Refund requests for the cases stated above are accepted only on condition that the products’ labels and tags are intact and products have not been tried on)
* To get your refund, the returned product must include the free gift given to the purchase of the item and keep its original condition.

② Ineligible for refund:
